We urge you to review this document thoroughly prior to reserving a yacht. By engaging in a charter arrangement with ReferenceInformationHub, you are accepting and agreeing to these terms of refund.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
Over 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding service charges
Processing Time: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for card payments
Conditions: Must be submitted in written form through email or telephone
Between 24 to 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Service Charge: €25 taken from the refunded amount
Conditions: A valid reason is needed; admin costs are applied
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No refund is offered
Exception: Consideration for emergencies may be given
Alternative: Credit for future charter can be given at the discretion of management
Conditions: Proof required for claims related to emergencies
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment Regarding Weather
We prioritize safety foremost. Should the weather be deemed hazardous for sailing by our accredited captain, we offer several alternatives:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling isn't an option, a full refund will be provided
- Postponement: Shift your booking to another available date at no extra charge
- Charter Credit: We will issue a credit valid for one year from the initial date of the charter
Weather Evaluation Process
Our weather assessment includes:
- Analyzing wind patterns and strengths
- Observing sea conditions and wave stature
- Evaluating visibility and potential rainfall
- Taking into account Coast Guard advisories and alerts
- Assessing the safety judgement of a professional captain
Decision Timeframe: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Qualifying Emergency Situations
Situations that may be considered for special allowances include:
- Unforeseen illness or injuries that necessitate hospital care
- Loss of an immediate family member
- Compulsory military service or urgent recalls
- Summonses for jury duty or legal obligations
- Natural calamities impacting your journey
Proof Requirements
For processing requests in emergency scenarios, you must furnish:
- Hospital statements or medical certifications
- Death certifications where relevant
- Formal military directives
- Legal notices or jury summons
- Official travel cautions or emergency proclamations
Processing: Requests relating to emergencies are handled within 3-5 business days upon presentation of valid proof.
Operational Cancellations
Technical Failures
In the event your designated vessel encounters mechanical failures that are unresolvable:
- Alternative Craft: We aim to offer a similar replacement
- Total Refund: If an equivalent alternative isn't available
- Partial Refund: When the replacement vessel's rate differs
- Recompense: We may present additional indemnities for the inconvenience
Inaccessibility of Crew
In instances when certified crew are unavailable:
- We will endeavour to arrange an alternative team when feasible
- Full reimbursement if the charter is unable to proceed
- An option to reschedule without further charges
Refund Processing
Reimbursement Techniques
Repayments are processed through the original payment mode utilized for reservation:
- Cards: 5-7 working days
- Wire Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Check: 3-5 working days
Service Expenses
Card Transaction Service
€50 charges for cancellations made over 72 hours before
Wire Transfer Service
€25 charges for all wire transfer reimbursements
Global Transaction Service
Supplementary expenses may be applicable for transactions outside domestic parameters
Charter Credits
Occurrences for Credit Issuance
Under certain conditions, credit for future charters may be given rather than refunds:
- Last-minute cancellations (fewer than 24 hours prior)
- Cancellations due to weather
- Voluntary rebookings by clients
- Interruptions in operations
Terms for Credit
- Validation Period: Valid for a year from the date of issuance
- Transfer Restrictions: Credit is not exchangeable to others
- Value: Equated to the full amount of the charter without service charges
- Application: Applicable to any forthcoming charters available
- Expiry: No renewal post the 12-month period
Partial Service Reimbursements
Disruptions of Service
Should your charter be interrupted or cut short due to factors within our control:
- A proportional refund based on the unutilized duration
- Credit towards a future equivalent charter
- Gratuitous amenities or upgrades on offer
Interruptions Caused by Guests
If a charter concludes prematurely due to guest behavior or security infringements:
- Non-refundable for the time not used
- Full cost is still chargeable
- Potential additional fees could be incurred
Resolution of Disputes
If you have reservations about a refund outcome, you have the option to:
- Appeal for a reassessment from our leadership group
- Present further proof or details
- Seek mediation through consumer protection entities
- Consider legal actions as permissible by governing law

Our team will confirm reception of your inquiry within a day, evaluate it against the stipulations of this policy, make a decision within two days, and execute authorized reimbursements as per the specified durations.
Essential Points
- All applications for reimbursement must be made in written form
- Refunds are managed in € notwithstanding the currency of initial payment
- We strongly advise securing travel insurance
- The stipulations of this policy are subject to updates, given a notice period of 30 days
- Refunds are subject to prevailing taxes and regulatory conditions
